The Foster Road Pit is just North of Huntley in McHenry County on the East side of State Route 47. This location was developed and mined for over 20 years and continues to serve the Huntley market by providing construction aggregates to Ready Mixed Concrete and Hot Mixed Asphalt plants in the area. The reserve life at this facility has been greatly extended with the importation of sand and gravel from local area excavation projects.

This smaller facility in a smaller market still has over half of its natural reserves as well as the imported materials from off site, so the location and market, make it another great strategic match in the far western suburbs which has seen incredible growth over the last few years.
